Alina Klimenko

My name is Alina. I am twenty-two years old. I was born in the small town of Svitlovodsk in a Christian family. Since childhood, I have been a member of the evangelical church "The Ark of Salvation", where my parents serve: my father is a worship leader, my mother is a Sunday school principal. My parents have always instilled in me a love for God and ministry to Him. I have seen their example of how much they love God.

Consequently, at an early age, I made an important step in my life – repentance - and joined our worship and dance ministries. Subsequently, I became a Sunday school teacher and a youth worship leader. I was involved in teenage and youth ministries, but evangelistic ministry has always been special to me. At the age of fourteen, I graduated from the Evangelical Leadership School, and began to passionately preach the Gospel everywhere. In addition, as a kid, I loved learning English and believed that I would be able to use English in my ministry.

Four years ago, God blessed me with the opportunity to study at the Dragomanov National Pedagogical University in the Faculty of Anglo-Japanese Philology. Throughout my studies, I worked in various fields: a tutor, a translator, a teacher at a children's academy, but I knew that in answer to my prayers, God was preparing a special job for me. And He was 100% faithful because He brought me to the English Department of CCX Ukraine. In this ministry, I see the opportunity to share the Gospel with students through various English ministry projects. I believe that I will be helpful in preparing different activities and events, in communicating with students, and in preaching the Gospel.
